webmaster tool question

ok maybe this is a stupid question or maybe it had been asked before ...but my question is this :
can i add to webmaster tool a subdomain even that the domain is added
the domain is www.forja,ro the subdomain is www.en.forja.ro is a different language will i get penalized ?
and the second question is can i included it in Google's index ? are they seen as different homepages or not and i will get penalized for spam

I think this is really a good question.

Here are my suggestions for your questions:

* Yes, you can add sub domain in Google Webmaster tool as Google treat sub domains as different domains.

* If you have sites with different languages say Spanish and German versions for a business, the preferences should be:

1. ccTLDS such as example.es or example.de
2. After than, sub domains such as es.example.com or de.example.com.
3. If that’s not possible, I’d use subdirectories such as example.com/es/ or example.com/de/ .

In these cases Google will not penalize these sites.

I don't think so we can get banned for providing different language option in sub domain names .

 

Yes, you can! A subdomain is considered as ANOTHER website (in the eyes of SE spider); so its OK to add Google WEbmaster Tools Codes on your subdomain and main domain.

 

Thanks guys for your sugestion,I will add webmaster tool code to my subdomani and also i'l try to get the subdomain indexed in Google. 10x a bunch !
