I will be opening a webmaster related membership program and had a few questions.

The site is a point based purchase stuff project. You get points for doing things (referring others, writing articles, etc) and you can purchase things with these points.

    1) There will be a referral section and wanted to know what people would be comfortable with showing their referrers. e.g. Email, name, points, account type, etc.

    2) Should I have any products that you can buy right away? (virtual)

    Regards

Well, I personally would not be comfortable having my email address being exposed out in the open. Email Harvesters can make use of them to spam. I guess just nick, name, points and account type may not be too bad. I guess the least information would ensure privacy for your users.

Well, of course you can offer products for sale. If it is what you can use to buy using points, it will indeed give it some sort of value. Besides it will probably make you money right away to finance the site.

    K, so I got:
Name - Status (email verified or not) - Points - Account Type

The pages wouldnt be indexed by Search engines since they require one to be logged to view the page.

Yes. If people like and trust you in a particular subject matter, they will buy from you. Why wouldn't you want to give them that opportunity (and make some money for youself in the process)?
