Not 100% sure where to post this question.

This might seem like a silly question but I have a number of sites that all have this word used on them. The keyword density has been optimized so that it should score highly however in webmaster tools on all the sites this word doesn't appear as a keyword.

i was wondering if Google bans this word or if webmaster tools has an adult filter on the keywords.

yes, google filter lots of meaningless words: is are here there etc and html http www single word etc

parts as a single word should also be filtered.

Hadn't really thought of it like that. I thought it might have been an adult word filter but short common words make sense being filtered.

    thanks for the comment

The reason this came to light is that I use the word "car parts" on these sites and the density is such that this term is the most common. In webmaster tools the word "car" shows up and is the highest ranked word yet the word "part" isnt listed. I can only assume that your comment about certain words being ignored would explain it however I dont think "Part" is used in the same way other words you suggested are
