I like and enjoy setting up forums, and had limited success with one in particular.
I have a couple of adult forums, which I have kind of fell out of love with at the moment.
Do you think there is still some money to be made in Webmaster forums? This site is a great little site, and it does make good money, but is there any more room for a similar forum?
Do you think people tend to stick with one particular forum, or are there people out there who are active members of other webmaster forums?

Peoples like to join crowd u know i know
So ..Maybe there is chances for new webmasters forum but saying again ..
You need to make that forum running (with no revenue) atleast 6 month+
Smart peoples will join your forum if that forum have good PR. ;)
You will need some dedicated members who could help you.
You also need to make your forum having a bunch of helpful information and even sometime asking few questions (Which will make guests to register and answer it)

    just my 2.45 cents :D

p.s.: i will be starting my own webmaster forum too with that plan i told above. :)

I"ve recently started a webmaster marketing forum for social networking and bookmarking, among other things.

I am looking for interested members who either 1) want to help me promote it or 2) partners will be to pitch in for the website.

Either of you two or anyone else reading this can PM me if you want to discuss it more. Link is in sig.

Personally, i've joined DP and that is pretty much enough for me.
I'm one of those who stick with dedication to one forum at a time.
If i don't find information that i need in DP, i search in other places, although i do not register nor being active there.
    Currently this is my home.

I just started one not too long ago, and it's fairly hard with all the stuff you have to do.

If you are making a webmaster forum it can't just be a forum, you need webmaster tools no other sites have and you need to give them out. The more tools you give out the more people will talk about your site and the more you will get known.

Soon I will be making a webmaster forum but I will not be making it because I want a webmaster forum it will be because I am starting a huge website with tons of stuff to offer and just like DigitalPoint once was I will have a support forum for all the tools but I will also have room for everything else.

Yes people will join others as long as its active and has a decent community. Their certainly is space in this field in my opinion look at dnforum, namepros and digitalpoint to name 3 these are massive forums yet most members on them are on all 3 which is why if you get one going offering something the others don't or adding something extra/improving a service or dedicating more to a particular field like digitalpoint focuses on directories/se's alot i think there would be definatley an extra addition to webmaster forums and i would probably join it too :D

I think some sites need to focus on Affiliates, and PPC.

The webmaster niche is very saturated so promoting a webmaster forum is a very hard task.

I own a webmaster forum (as you can see in my sig) and I've worked for this site more than any other site I own. I have to say that making money from such a site is a really hard thing (as promotion is) but I still work on it as I am total addicted to my community :)

In my opinion there is no room for more webmaster forums in our days. If you have time to build unique webmaster tools or anything else that can create buzz then you should try it, otherwise you'll lose your time.
