I have a question... May a webmaster put his own GA code inside the website he build for the customers ? Is it allowed?
Of course he can, the problem is that if he sells something he may be delivering competitive ads..And the visitors may go buy that thing in a competitors site
Yes this is 100% allowed by google . People might be more interested in the ads rather than his products
No, it's not and it's down right deceptive. No client would agree to this unless the service was free and that was the compensation.
I've seen a webmaster put his publisher ID in the Google search he added in a free template. I understand it's a free template but I think the people using it should be informed so they can choose whether they want it that way or not. In the case of someone who's paying for a website it's only ok if you tell the client about it- and explains the implications to that client -and he has no problem with it.
there are many template/skin coders who place their codes inside. Unfortunately many people do not realize that they are making a huge deal to the coder of that template by using such skins on their sites. But on the other side, I don't think there is a way that Google would be able to track issues such as this one and thats why they allow it.
If your customers dosent have any problem and the site is asper adsense's rule then there should not be any problem
