    I'm with dreamhost, they are okay. Godaddy seem to be popular. Bluehost and hostgator i've heard good things about. Could go on.

    I personally recommend BlueHost. I've been with them for years and with all their drawbacks, I think they're one of the best hosting companies around.

    I've been with Lunarpages since April of this year and have had no problems. BlueHost / Hostmonster and HostGator are worth checking out too.

    it depends on what are your requirements, I have been with midphase, dreamhost, layeretech and currently I have got a dediacted server from softlayer which is great..

    ASmallOrange and MediaTemple seem to get lots of good attention. I have tried both myself and I feel that ASmallOrange is a great and cheap web host.
