Webhosting - How long before sales are reported?

I just sent about 20 targeted clicks over to a webhosting advertiser. My traffic clicked knowing the sales price. So far I'm not showing any sales. I'm using PPC to do this and I need to know what to expect so I can adjust my bids accordingly.

Btw it's been about 4 hours since the clicks occured, and 2 hours since CJ reported them.

20 clicks is nothing, you just need more.

Up to 30 now. According to the average EPC for the link I am using, I should have gotten a sale 10 clicks ago. Richie do you usually see your sales show up a few hours after they are made? Or days or what? Have you ever made any sales for Lunarpages?

average EPC doesn't mean you will get that much. I have one affiliate that my clicks were 1000, and 3 sales total.

It's like Average household income in your city is $200k, but that's because bill gates lives there.

web hostings sales are very slow because they usually pay high commission so they want to make sure the sale is legit...

I'm aware that EPC doesn't mean much. However if the average EPC is is $100, then I can expect my links to perform with average results (maybe a little higher / lower). So for sending 100 hits in this particular instance I can reasonably expect to make $50 - $150 assuming my traffic knows the price before hand.

If there is a delay then that makes more sense.

Kevin - sometimes CJ is hours behind.. almost always at least 3 and it's not unusual to see them 6 hours behind. I'm in the eastern time zone and never check my end of day stuff untul about 9:00 Am the next morning.
