After hours trying to get the COOP ads on my site, I learned that my webhosting company doesn't allow certain mandatory featured needed for the COOP, such as passthru, and they don't even allow .htaccess I just wanted advice on some of the webhosting companies you guys are using for your COOP that allows these features because I think I need to switch. I am not sure, even some free hosting providers support change in .htaccess. Go here and http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ and use quote there.
Kia, it is time to change hosting company. I was having the same problem as you are encountering. I was given a bunch of BS from my host as to why they configure their servers in a particular manner. You may want to check out www.tophosts.com and find a host that meets your requirements. The one host that caught my eye is www.penguinhost.net. cheers Frank
