Hi there, Has anyone else spotted subdomains from webeden.co.uk ranking unusually high on google? Have a look at the search term "telephone answering service" for example and you'll see keyword rich subdomains from webeden appearing twice on the front page. Or the term "virtual office" (so pretty competitive) and it's in 4th top spot. The sites (subdomains) themselves are just one page and pretty rubbish in terms of content so I'm just amazed at how they can be ranking so high- any ideas or any other examples? I'm half tempted to go and register a bunch of keyword rich sub-domains with them but i suspect they'll get booted soon enough once the big G spots them- maybe?! -Nicky
I've just looked at ahrefs.com and it's because the subdomains in question have thousands of backlinks (all comment spam and about 60,000 backlinks) all added within the past couple of weeks. What I am surprised at though is how google hasn't booted them straight away? Agree?: ahrefs.com for telephoneansweringservice.webeden.co.uk
