Hello Guys, I would like to hear your opinion about my next project. So, here we go: For over 7 years I design websites and I make some nice extra money working just 2 hours per day. I am finishing my project - I wrote an ebook about how to make nice extra money designing and selling websites, where to resell them, how to come up with good ideas, etc... I would also like to mention that my ebook will teach people to create unique websites, it is not about copying someone's ideas, etc. It is very ethical. I do not see much ebooks on this subject online (I am talking about designing and selling websites, not about "start your local web design firm"). But why is that, what do you think? Also, if I offer a copy for $29.00 would that be a good price? (I am talking about real quality content in this ebook, this is not just some junk reports). My target market is basically people like me: self-made web designers, web design students and experienced designers as well. But here is another question: HOW TO LOCATE THIS MARKET ONLINE without paying big bucks? And where to check if there is actually enough demand for this product? I tried Word Tracker but it gives me some miserable results. Here are some marketing ideas I got, but I have doubts, because: 1. PPC. Good way to get traffic, but who is searching for "make money reselling websites"? I checked with Word Tracker - not much at all... 2. Articles. Little better one, but same as # 1... Who is organically searching on this subject? 3. Blog. Basically same problem as # 2. 4. Affiliate Programs. Those require big investment, overall I am sure there will be some affiliates who are interested. 5. Newsletter. Requires traffic to generate, see problems above. Buying lists is expensive. Here is one more thing. I do not want my website to scream "Make Millions Reselling Websites" or "I Am A Web Design Guru" - no way, but it will have a clear message of making extra $$$ selling sites. With 2-nd type of a message it is harder to get sales - but I will know that I am being honest. Your overall opinion is HIGHLY appreciated. Thanks!
Try adding ebook to paydot. They host ebook and have affiliate program you can use for percent of sales.
I checked them, they have this policy: "Purchases pay instantly to your PayPal account" I really want to use my own merchant account because you have no control over your money if you deal with PayPal. I know many people got burned that way.
The answer is right under your nose..... Forums. Google search forums for the keywords. Meet and greet others who do what you do. Listen, learn, then apply.
