Webceo or other tool, which to get?

I have been using the free edition of webceo. I limits you to what you can do but have considered purchasing it. However, you have to also pay a monthly subscription for the updates.

Is there a tool that is just as good that is a one time purchase?

I like the ranking tool that shows your keyword position on the various engines.

The thing I want is the ability to analyize differences for a keyword phrase comparing one website page to my website page.

I have about 6 websites that I manage and need some seo software to help analyize & monitor the serps.

    thanks for any advice.

You can use the Free Keyword Tool right here on DP:

    http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/

It allows you to monitor Google / Yahoo / MSN SERPs.

Thanks for the tip but it doesn't do competition comparison analysis.

Nothing beats good ole manual work for that part ;)

Anything KEI based for competition analysis is flawed IMO.

regarding the keyword ranking tool in webceo..i dont know how much accurate it works. i was a very big fan of webceo and was using it for keyword and competitor analysis.

however, suddenly one day, their keyword ranking analysis went haywire....in google it showed as not found for any of the keywords for many websites i maintain...nearly had a heart attack...as i was in the top 20 for many keywords....

then i manually went and checked in google and yahoo...it was still there in the position where it was earlier...i then checked again after 15 days...again the reports were erratic....

so i stopped using it. now i check the rankings using the same old method...manually checking...

of course it is a good tool for competitor analysis..and various factors to be optimised..

anyway...keep me updated on how the ranking analysis now works..

    all the best...

I like this option because WebCeo is very complicated taking lots of time to understand it :/
