    Why would anyone want to do that manually when they can get an automated notification system?

    I never came across a system that gives you notice on your cell phone at the precise time you want it. Most URL tool requires you to be online. This tool allows checking your online status from a cell phone.

    I only need to be informed when my site is down which most monitoring system already provide; I don't see myself doing the job of a monitoring system sending text every minutes. :D
