We are currently using Optigold with WebAuthorize v1.3.1. We want to upgrade to WebAuthorize v1.4R4 and would like to know if the existing Tellan Plug in will work. (We want to use high speed Internet instead of Dial up processing with the new version) The Tellan folks (ICVERIFY) are telling me there are some format changes between the versions and they cannot guarantee it will work. Would you know if Optigold works with WebAuthorize v1.4R4 and/or could you make the necessary changes to the plugin if it didn't work? Many thanks, John Verreault AEI Internet
I have not seen that version myself... unfortunately I wouldn't be able to make any changes to the plug-in because it's a compiled C++ app that was written by Tellan themselves (so only they have the source).
Shawn, Did Tellan develop the plug-in for Digital Point? Can I check with them to see if they still have the source? What other info can I give them to look for the source? Thanks John Verreault AEI
No, the plug-in had nothing to do with us. They used to have it as a free download on their website for anyone.
Shawn, If I got the new SDK from ICVerify for WebAuthorize, would it be possible to create a new plug-in/interface for the new version? Would you be able to do it? John Verreault AEI
The best bet would be to PM wkw (user here). He is the one that develops most of the plug-ins Optigold uses.
I have not received a response from wkw yet. Do you have another way of reaching him? Thanks John Verreault AEI
