    Hi,

I just launched an online Sudoku game, powered by JavaScript on a DOM model to insure higher compatibility (although I can't test it on something else than Firefox, MSIE & Opera for Windows :().

Please let me know your opinion about the layout (my purpose is to keep it clean) and about the game itself :)

    The URL is: http://www.web4sudoku.com

    Thank you!

Very, very nice. The google ads blend in so well I nearly clicked on one thinking it was part of the site. ;)

Good layout, simple, practical and stylish. Well done. :)

The site looks great, I'm nott o fond of the game scrpit you have though. I don't like having to click the numbers. It's much easier to type them in, especially in a game when you are constantly changing numbers around.

But design wise... the site looks great

Interesting, most addicted sudoku players suggested me to change the input method to something more comfortable as just clicking.

On Mac FireFox, the text "Play Another Game" does not fit on the button, and most of that final "e" is truncated.

I also agree about the clicking. If I want to enter a 7, I shouldn't have to click the box seven times! That's crazy!

Other than that, it looks great!

    Thanks for the feedback.

Looks like would be a good idea to have two versions for the input: click based and textbox based. :-?

I'd agree with that. I downloaded and purchased the "official" version (sudoku dot com) and have found the ability to type in the number I want is what is easiest.

You've got a few validation errors - no DOCTYPE declaration, your JS call is missing a type, ..., but otherwise it looks pretty good on Firefox.

How about a slight colour change on mouseover of the buttons and boxes?
