Hello Friends, It has been a time since i last contributed so i thought making some hype would be of some interest. On my domain (abuzant.com) you can find a hidden XML interface providing you with 60sec. updated RSS2.0 feed of the latest activity at digg.com servers. Objective: To create the best looking fully functional Web2.0 interface to visualize the data in that constantly updated XML file. An entry in the contest is one php file with no Time frame: This contest will end August 1st, 00:00 EST Delivery: All works are to be sent as a ZIP/RAR archive to my email address, see abuzant.com contact page for more information. It is though recommended to make available a public URL where we can see your work in action.. Just for the sake of seeing each others works (optional). Allowed & Forbidden: It is allowed to use whatever PHP you want as it is in the same file, with no external dependencies. The use of script.acoul.us & prototype libraries is allowed, if you need an external AJAX helper, use mooFX. Everything else is forbidden. No images, no solids. Just CSS, Javascript and pure (X)/HTML code. Prizes; Huh, what are you talking about? The winner has the chance to choose weather he would like to be paid (option1) or (option2). Option1: The winner is paid $100, his work is a copyright of abuZant(c) Web Development. I do not want to pay too much as it is all just a proof of concept the way i see it The $100 are just for the winning celebration's beers. Option2: Commercial plugins for wordpress, typepad and joomla will be offered for the public at $29,99 a copy. It is a JV partnership between me and the author on all generated sales, of any software or plugin item sold that uses the entry's concept/or idea. Finally, Good luck everybody, cya soon.
Wow.. not a single response. Is it the prize making you ignore the challenge or because it is really hard? Just wondering ..
