Hi guys, does anyone know a quck an easy method of submitting sites to directories??
It is so time consuming having to submitt them individually - I've heard there is a software that I can use to do this for me - Is this true???

Also do you know if it's free or a price attached???

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Theresa,

Your best bet here is probably to outsource it to countries where cost of labour is much lower than the UK. There are a lot of Indian and Chinese companies that offer such a service, many run by people who post on this forum I think.

Software may exist that does this task, but directory owners do not want automated submissions and many now use captchas to try to make certain its an actual human filling in the form.

you don't need to submit your website to directories, it won't counted as backlinks. Check via google.com/webmasters

I used to do manual submissions for my site. I don't want to take a risk for directory submitter.

Yeah I wouldnt recommend auto-submitters as they can get marked down as spam. I use something called Directory Submitter though, which is semi-automatic. Great free software :)

    W3bmaster,

Thanks for pointing out the InformEnter Firefox Addon after installing it and using it I was thoroughly impressed and unsure of how I ever got along without it before.

I do not know where you heard that submitting to directories will not count as backlinks. If you submit to crappy directories then yes they will not count because google will not index. Back to the question, do not use auto software, but use roboform which allows you to press a button and it will fill in the form, keeping it manual. Check it out!

There is no such thing as automatic software to submit your website to directories these days, thanks to the invention of CAPTCHA.

From that said, there are semi-automatic directory submission software that work almost as well as an automatic software would. It will save you lots of time indeed.

I use a software called SubmitEaze. It's like $100 now I think...PM me if you want to use my referral link (you'll help me out) and I'll give you green rep and whatever you want. :D

ROBOFORM is only $25 for the pro version and you can use it to submit all your websites, if you only have one, you can get the free version and it will fill in all the forms for you if you create it right! Easiest solution!

    short desc
    long desc
    review
    site desc
    include a short description

    Field Name: keywords
    Field Value: your website keywords
