Web site optimization questions

    I have a website, http://www.awesome-art.biz. It ranks high on Google and Yahoo if you type in keywords like - "fine art" cd-rom monet

    However PageRank in IE is zero! Is PageRank very important? How to improve it?

    What i did was found popular keywords from searches on Overture, and other keyword selection tools and added them, took frames out of the site, and that is about all. What other methods are important for SEO?

    Public PageRank updates about every 3 months, but it's internally taken into account immediately for ranking purposes. Best way to improve your PageRank is to get more links.

    Don't worry about what is showing on the toolbar though, as it's always outdated.

    if your site is older than 1 month, it should have some rank, since the last update was weeks ago

    You should do some exercise in revision of keywords, content enhancement, Link popularity to get good PR.
