    Hello,

I just created a new web-site www.communicatonline.com and it works perfectly in IE 7.0 But in FireFox the embed flash document changes places and does not works correctly. In IE 6.0 the flash document doesnt even shows :(. I validated it and got a number of errors mostly they were because of the Document type  which really frustrates me.Can anyone fix this problem. I will be really thankful to you people if my problem gets fixed :)

You can view the source. If you need the files you can ask me for it..

    Please try to help me.

    Thanks,
    -Rabeet

    Hy,

even if your site is valid doesn´t mean that your problem will be done. IE sucks, so why don´t you optimize your site for firefox and use IE hacks?

I think you must do the invert, optimized for IE then do FF hacks, still most people use IE my friends

It's getting very close to 50/50, according to W3 schools:

    w3schools dot com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

And it will almost certainly depending on your site's demographic. For example, my site (oldwithoutmoney dot com) has a 41% FF, 17% IE, 16% Mozilla, according the latest awStats figures. As a rule of thumb, if you're expecting a younger, bleeding edge demographic, code to Firefox. For a more business-oriented site, IE.

I'd suggest spending a few minutes to try to determine what your site's traffic is (if you have some traffic and cPanel, this is remarkably easy), and figure out what's going to net out as less work.

P.S. - I like the design. Nice and clean. But I'd suggest putting the 'designed by' line at the bottom. It's pushing the centre content of your screen down just a touch, but it's enough (at least to my eye) to make it seem like it's hanging low. And it would be more eye-pleasing at center or just a touch above centre. IMHO.

Only morons use firefox. As long as it shows fine in IE, you're covered. Filter out useless FF traffic and you're a win...
