Web site hosting question!

    Hey,
    Having a question..
    Is it possible to host an website for example in US and "get" an IP address from France?--> So it will look like hosted in France!?!
    Im running some local websites, so want them to be hosted "localy" (for search engines) BUT in the other hand don’t want the code of my site leave my server!:)
    Anyone done this before? Please help me!

    No, you can't unless you proxy your whole server through a French IP.

    Agree. you can't do this if you want search engine to see you as local.

    1/ well about the ethical part of comment:
    This is not meant to be cheating in any way, just dont trust some local company that my code want be copied, thats all.:) that would be un-ethical!!!

    2/so what you guys saying is to get some for exmpl. French proxy address and drive the whole server through it?
