Web site got hacked

    hello,

    i know someone who's web site was hacked yesterday. does anyone know any advice to give him? i gave him some advice but i told him i would ask around for help. he's a newbie and he said he didn't give out any hosting account information to anyone. he has hosting through gate.com and he has restored his web site since yesterday.

    He should check access logs to see how he got hacked, identify the vulnerability and fix it.
