Web Server For Cold fusion?

    I know that Apache support PHP and IIS support ASP.

    For Cold Fusion, what web server should I use?

    Any help can do..I want to learn to use Cold Fusion.

    So guys pls do help me..

    The server license for CF is somewhere in the neighborhood of $5K. You will need to find a host that supports CF and that is not an easy thing to do. I think you can get a development license that will only work on the localhost account for a lot less, but you're still going to be shelling out some dough for it. Good luck.

    boohlick, you can get support for coldfusion (as well as PHP and MySQL, etc.) at http://www.ogrehosting.com -- your choice of either a Linux server or a Windows 2003 server.

    I've used Linux and apache for 8+ years and have really liked it. I like apache over IIS for the configuration options.

    We have several clients who use Cold Fusion on Windows servers with IIS. It appears to work just fine.
