Site loads, but very slow - nvm.

The left blinking banner is a little nasty in my opinion. Secondly, I suggest You to change background of left column (that green one), it's in contrast to the rest of the layout.

 

Blinking = Blech.

 

Hi! I agree with Sorror. You should change the green background colour in the right column, because it doesn't fit into the site's layout. Try to pick a shade of one of the colours that you already use, for example you could experience with a very light blue shade.

The flashing advert on the left is quite annoying to me.

Ditto, I fled from that flashing button. Good way to cause an epilectic fit on someone. Ewww!
