craigslist is full of scams, spam and high priced second hand junk. It's great for that type of thing and nothing else nowadays I used it for a while but not so much now.
Craig105, that means its a great place to market if you have a legitimate product. Yes, there are tons of scams and junk on there. However, there is a huge portion of people there who will be interested in your product if its serves their needs. If you have some random crap website then craiglist will be a waste. Most people on this forum don't have legitimate businesses. They are looking to sell crap like, "how to get rich on google adsense" or whatever. However, if you have a legit business, craigslist is a great resource to use.
Craigslist has put many features in place to stop spammers. And marketers too. So unless your only going to promote to your local area... Forget about CL!
That is entirely false that craiglist is full of scam and spammers. Craigslist is trying their best to avoid spammers and scam. Craigslist doesn't allow you to post more than 1 post from 1 ID and IP. If you find any post is scam, you can flag it and the strict actions will taken by craigslist. As a result they remove that post or block account. But still there are many guys who are spamming on craigslist. In my opinion 1 post per day is enough to advertise and promote your services. There is good chance to get good traffic on your website if post is written right way.
