    Yea, kinda old news. But like I said, don't expect everyone to go rushing to create their own .tld...it's a 100k fee. Besides, all these weird extensions are just gonna confuse ppl, and make .com a even more clear winner.

    It is already complicated enough with all of these different .tld's out there already. I hope this only makes the .com's that much stronger. At least they made the reg fee extremely high so people don't go gobbling up every word for the heck of it.

    Yes...everything else will probably get muddled and watered down.
    The .com extension will stand out.
    I'd say that's a pretty good "side effect".
