    I want to offer web hosting. Very basic. FTP access, no DB or shell.

    What are you all using to setup webhosting for your users, just commands or a software?

    I would like to have all HTML & PHP files they upload to include a header automatically.

    How can I accomplish that?

    If you do not know this i do not think you should open a Host its many problem with hosting and if you can not service your customers they will be mad. But there is scripts that can do what you telling us.

    xpanel and ipanel are good softwares to force ads in accounts.

    My recommendation for you is to read a bit, then start with a reseller account until you furthur understand the concept of hosting.

    It's going to be very basic hosting for the Lifetime upgraded members of one of my forums; Jeepforum.com. Pages w/ pictures of their Jeep and modifications. Very basic free hosting.

    I already host a few sites I setup through the command prompt but no forcing ads into the pages. Since we moved to our own rack at the local data center our cluster has become really strong; load balancing app & db servers with seperate file and e-mail servers so I don't worry about it not being reliable.

    Thanks for the suggestion of x&ipanel I will look into those.
