I have a web hosting site that has been in operations for several years. My PR is 2 and my search engine listing basically is non-existant. I look at other web hosting sites and they are pretty much the same statis sales information. Look at the source and not very much there either some that rank much higher in the search engine don't even have meta tags related to web hosting terms. So, my question is, how do you perform SEO for pages that are static, don't have much useful updated information etc? The only thing that got my PR up was a series of about 20 articles posted on a couple of article directories. But that hasn't driven any business to my site. My traffic is, well lets just say if it wasn't for spiders I wouldn't have any traffic. I am getting ready to redo the site and offer free hosting. So now is the time to correct, implement, try something new etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated and maybe even rewarded. The website is http://rd-webhosting.com
Well friend, you wont get indexed nor rank well without getting indexed unless you can add some fresh content, put a forum up or something, will help you out.
Some one once said that the first page for web hosting is worth about 30 grand a month in revenue. Now with that in mind it takes a lot of work to climb to the top in that arena. Try medium keywords to get some strategic placement to help earn some revenue. And the other s are right CONTENT is king..
I am interested to know how these guys can afford like 30-100 unique c-class blocks, any body got a clue?
