Actually, Shawn, he is allowed to post his offers here. :) But, only once. More than once and I'll have his post removed for spam, simple as that. I just have a lookout section for unlimited providers. I never stated they couldn't post offers.

The list won't be updated here as the staff are useless and egocentric. If anyone wants to make a page to put em on, that'd be great.

you know having an unlimited "warning" list is like setting some of these companies up to fail, if you continue to make misstatements about these unlimited companies, and their business suffers, or is perceived to suffer, they can sue you for blocking or limiting trade. Aren't we about having an open forum to share ideas, I think it's wrong to indicate to people not to do business with these companies due to their claims. As I said in a prior post many "reputable" companies are now advertising unlimited, should we go after them too, I hope you have an attorney on retainer. I think we should go after the scammers we know are guilty. Babydoll, I threatened to sue him and got my money back. Others are still here posting, and DP doesn't stop them from posting. So lets share ideas, it's your right to say unlimited is not good, but we face liability when we start listing these companies without VERY specific evidence. You can openly complain about service you didn't receive, but when you start placing these companies on lists you start to run afoul of the law..

I personally have been burned by 4 "unlimited" hosts, and yes I play a lawyer on TV.

If they feel like suing me for expressing my opinions they can. I will take them to federal courts and win. Under the first amendment, I have the right to free speech. Its also not against forum rules to openly state my opinions. Therefor, I'm doing nothing wrong. Neither is anyone else. Besides, there is no bias in the list. I do not say which hosts are good or bad, I only listed them.

I agree that "reputable" companies do advertise unlimited BUT not in unlimted space or unlimted bandwidth fields though.

We are talking about unlimted bandwidth, space sellers on DP.
No one can offer unlimited. Even the most hated crappy AND reputable known hosting company Godaddy "shows" limits.

    I agree.

That's a good point. But all hosting companies so far here at DP that have offered unlimited for <$10 have turned out to be scammed.

You do? Which TV program? ;)

I'm not saying your list is biased, BUT if some looking at the list and started a more biased list, that would open a can of worms. Also by the time you got to Federal Court you would be broke. I am not saying that trade infringement trumps first rights rules, but its a fine line your walking and its a very grey area. Most of these companies are small and would not have the money to sue, but class action might be possible for them. I'm just saying lets go after the ones we know are scamming and defrauding on DP, one I know of and have complained to DP stole money, he has not been banned and still posts and sells services here.

I know of a lot more than you ;) At least 47 members here, since I've been member, have began hosting, scammed people, and then only come back to scam again.
