Web Hosting : Problem ?

    Within my three years of online business I have changed many web hosting providers.All are having some problem.

    First take cheap hosting, but they are also cheap in service too :D

    Then I take expansive, but they too have problems with DNS propagation and all.They never backup and I lost three of my blogs with content.

    So what I do ?

    Did you have similar experience ?

    Nope, I had a cheap hosting provider when I started online business. They were great but their support was too lazy. Then I bought a little expensive hosting, everything is going absolutely fine so far :)

    There are so many hosting providers available so you need to check properly before go with them (quick support,99.9 % uptime).

    Regarding backup you need to take backup of your site+DB every 15 days interval for your own safety. BTW you can use WP Backup plugin at your WP driven blog so it'll take automatically DB backup as you want (everyday,once in a week,once in a month etc.).

    I have had no problems with IFTK Hosting. I have been with them as a client and reseller for about 14 months now and have only had about 7 hours of downtime through out the hole year and they sent out an email for a scheduled maintenance for all those hours. Before this I was with many of other hosting companies and have had similar problems like you with no backups and all. There prices are very reasonable to there services and their support is awesome.

    Just my opinion!

    All cheap / expensive hosting providers need not be poor in service. Select the one who is both great in hosting as well as in service. It may be bluehost, hostgator etc....

    I have tried a few different free and cheap hosts. Tried two cheap hosts recently that were a complete waste of time. One took so long to load it was pointless. The other just went belly up.

    I then tried a free one called Weebly. It's pretty basic, which may not suite your purposes. But it's really good. Almost no downtime. Nice site builder. Also, you can buy domains through them.

    I'd recommend it to anyone who is new to webmastering, or who wants something reliable for free (or very low cost).
