Well if you read my introduction post, you would know that I am switching into web hosting. I had a cool domain name with Yahoo! and cphosts offered me a reseller plan, but I needed to use:
    ns1.cphosts.com
    ns2.cphosts.com

You should know that your business will look really faulty when you are using somebody else's reseller plan. Anyway, he said I could create my own nameservers, but for some reason he couldn't do it with Yahoo!

Anyway, I called them up and waited 20 minutes in the phone (estimated wait time was 10 minutes) when I finally talked with a sales agent, he said that Yahoo! doesn't support private nameservers because they want traffic to their own servers, meaning they want people to sign up for their own web hosting packages.

In between he took around 10 minutes saying that he needed to do "research", which really annoyed me. My 14-Year old son would have known what I was talking about, but this 30-year old man had no idea.

I got so annoyed I asked if there was someone else I could talk to, he gave it to his supervisor saying that I was a troubled customer or troublesome, I forgot. Anyway, the supervisor knew what I was talking about and set it up in 5 minutes and said I should get an E-Mail to my Yahoo! account when they have finally set up the nameservers.

Let's see how long that takes.....that's the problem with bigger companies, they don't have enough support teams. Smaller companies have better support because they don't have a lot of customers to take care of.:D
