Hello I am looking for somewhere to host my website for free. Does anyone here hosts his website for free, if so where do you host it for free. I heard bravenet is good is it? does someone here use it? Express your opinions...

try 110mb - In the month or so I've had sites there, there have no problems so far.

synthasite is a good free site for a complete newbie

110mb is good as jhsutton mentioned, but no free host is going to be as good as paid hosting.

Whatever you do, don't go with 50megs.com. Ads all over the place.

Are you planning on upgrading some time soon - to paid hosting?

If so, try asking a normal host for a freebie (just fora few months). I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help you out.

Here is a list of free web hosts that do not have forced advertising and most have php and mysql. What kind of site are you planning on hosting for free?

Don't waste your time with FREE hosts. Find a cheap plan from a paid host.

Byethost.com is a great one. 250 MB space, 6 GB bandwidth, no ads, fast server, useful features. Also their paid plans are nice.
