Web Hosting Directory

    i have a question i started a web hosting directory yesterday .
    should i allow members to submit their hosting sites or should i convert the directory into a searchable database like freewebspace or free-webhosts
    so i can benefit from sponsored links
    what is the earning potential for my site. if anyone is interested in sponsoring one of my sites please come forward.

    If you promot your directory well, and manage to get 500 - 1000 uniques a day you can monetize your directory very well. hostting affiliate, adsense, sponsor links, plasn submission all togather will make good amout of money.

    500-1000 uniques to day a very tough target for me
    will using CPC search engines help me to get that at low costs

    That's true. I and many others normally look into ways of making money before they set up their site.

    Anyway, if you know you can convert clicks to sales with web hosting affiliate programs then you could ad some of these to your site.

    A web hosting directory is rather hard to get traffic for though as web hosting is a rather saturated topic.

    I have a hosting directory myself and find that getting traffic to this site is much harder then getting traffic to the rest of my sites.
