web hosting affilates - do they make money?

    if you are or have being an affiliate for a web hosting service (not a reseller) what's been your experience? and how did you go about promoting the affiliate on your site? and what were the results? any help is appreciated. thanks

    Hosting offers a great CPA/CPC etc so if you have the targeted traffic you can make plenty.

    Hosting leads generally pay huge CPAs. Average is $100/sale. If you can get the conversions you can make a huge killing. There are several hosting affiliates who make thousands of dollars a month.

    Hosting review sites/ coupons site could make you good money if you know what your doing..

    Would you believe Host Gator pays you $100 if the customer uses a coupon and gets first months hosting for a mere $0.01 !!

    Just search for "Hostgator coupons" you ll find many sites in sponsored links .. so they must be making 100s if not 1000s ..:rolleyes:

    But reversal rate is also in high in hosting affiliate programs.

    if you have the traffic and can convert it you can make good money. Tough market to just jump into if you aren't established though.
