Web Host That Never Offered Me A Refund!!

Basically, to cut a long story short, i was randomly looking for a nice Web Host that could offer me decent storage and very good bandwidth for my proxy sites. I did find this web host, and i was very happy with the outcome after a few days using my account, proxies were allowed the Web Host said.. i even read up on the TOS to make dead certain. It then came to my attention that my reseller i brought from the web host was running really slow, so obviously my sites on the reseller were also running really slow, i asked the Web Host to sort it out ASAP and he did.. but then a couple of days later i got a message in the forums that no NEW proxy sites were allowed to be added because it was slowing the servers down.. which i thought was ok and fair enough.. then a day or two later my websites wern't loading at all.. i went to the Web Host to ask why and he said his partner deleted every single account with a proxy on it because it was conflicting with the TOS.. like i said. He said proxies were allowed.

Now him and his partner has parted from the Company... and now i'm asking for a refund (off of the partner who deleted my account) and he said no and i can only have FREE hosting for a bit.. which is definately not what i wanted...

Does anyone have any ideas on what i should do to take legal action? Here is the forum thread where it happened at... if you feel like reading through all those posts :)

And here is the partners thread trying to offer free hosting to the people who got there account suspended..

Thanks everyone.. help will be apreciated..

Well, never dealt with them before but on their promo, it did say 30 days money back guarantee so I guess if it is within the 30 days, you can request for tha refund. How did you pay ?

Obviously their hosting would not work for you now, but is there another service or offer they could give you in exchange for the money you spent? See if you can cut some kind of deal out of it so that you don't have to take the loss completely. It can be a business write off on your taxes at the end of the year I think.

PS. Life deals us those screwed up hands, huh? This is not fair to you at all, hope something good comes from it.

I can't give you legal advice, sorry about that, but hope you get on the top side of things ;)

I paid via Paypal. And yes it's still within the 30 days as we speak, i believe i only brought it a week + a go.

I'll be completely honest with you, it was only $15 per month, so i'm not exactly going to break down and cry about it. But exactly the same thing has happened to me before, but this time i went straight to paypal and told them what happened and all that. But god knows how but he won the claim, so i lost £30.00 for that Hosting mistake.

So thanks very much for your comments and being quite honest with you, i've lost major stats and revenue because they terminated my account, and now they want to provide me with a spot of hosting for free.

Which i'm definately not going to take, i will never have any of their hosting again even if they paid me.

    Thank you,

    oh Yes!

There is a way. Get them banned from their payment processors

Contact PayPal and open a claim...Select any tangible good in the item
If paid by Credit Card, do a chargeback.
If paid by e-gold, send them screenshot of transaction including each and every detail of it and the service, then ask them to refund(which they wont but they will lock out the seller's account)

    Hope this helps out
