After needing decent hosting and looking around this forum for a few weeks most of the offers are from new hosting sites less than a year old and lots seem to go stale really quickly so how about we all add a report about who we are hosted with and how you get on with your host support quality / speeds /downtime etc

maybe we should also include what are the services included ie master/reseller
    adult/proxie/warez allowed etc
and i also think adding how long you have been with them would be a plus too

    anyone up for it.

    cheers
    Lee

Hello Lee. I believe that you need to add more information for your request. If you can rephrase that in terms of the space and bandwith that will be more easiely to recommend you something

no i think you miss understand me
i am not looking for hosts to post here more rather the customers reports on thier host

that is the problem with this forum is their are loads of newly set up hosts all off them offer the earth for a cheap price but after readiing on here and personal experiance tells me a lot go stale quick others have been around for a while and are constanly good/bad etc

i was thinking a thread with users reports on thier hosts would help people decide who to use

Google is your best friend, as I always recommend to clients, do as much searching about new hosts as possible. Use all the tools available, a simple whois on the domain can reveal a lot of information and always email companies before signing up, this will give you a good indication on support response times and you can get to know them personally.

Your idea is a good one but there are many host review web sites out there that do the same thing.

@ the OP, brilliant idea indeed, I agree with your suggestion and C.Evans is correct about it.
