    Hello,

I am under the process of creating my own web hosting company!

I have sorted out the packages and templates etc, and now all I need is a name for the web host!

Any suggestions? Please reply or PM me.

    Thanks!

I read somewhere the name VIOXA. Short and snappy.

Perhaps run a contest with a $ prize and people will be more interested. Frankly speaking the name of the host does not matter. Use a color name? Bluehost is there, you can use redhost or greenhost or orangehost? Not sure if these are available. Then you can choose animals also like Hostgator did - (Host + Aligator) - you can use Hosteer (Host + Deer) - or Hostah (Host + Cheetah) . Another way is use random words infront of Host - like Vodahost does - Zaphost, Slickhost, Smarthost etc. You can use numerics like host99 , host49 or host88 - the possibilities are endless!

You won't get the same pleasure in running the company using someone else's name.

Why should he use someone else's name? And where have anyone mentioned that?

I could use their suggestions, not their names.

Read the posts in the future. ;)

HuntingMoon.com specializes in naming. there are dozens of hosting names, and many web 2.0 short names as well.

hosting names can be absolutely anything. I've seen them range from colors to animals to completely made up words/letters. Just find something memorable, preferably that you can brand well and market it correctly
