@Cissed: I think your buttons are very stylized. While I do not think they will work for my particular template, I think they could fit very well with other types of designs. They are probably best applied on a white background. Thank-you for your submissions. @baps: I like that you've stay true and consistent to a clean, traditional design here. I think you have made too much use of the inner glow, outer glow, and bevel/emboss. I think if you scale each of those back, the revisions will make this button much better. @jokomamita: Great submissions joko. Very clean. Text is conservative, and very readable. I'm not crazy about that particular tone of blue, but I'm sure they would look good in other tones. You might want to reduce the mirror effect just a touch (of course this suggestion depends on the particular use). I'll be using them in a black row that does not have a bunch of vertical space, so a slightly shorter mirror would work well for me. @HomeBlogger: Very nice. I love the wrapped ribbon effect. The buttons are very clean. I would work on the text a bit. The Download part looks just a bit fuzzy. I'm not sure for my purposes if I would use the bubbles in the background, although they are a very nice addition. @all: Thank-you all for your submissions. The contest will still be running until about 8 hours from now (8pm EST timezone). I still invite any of you that wish to submit revisions or new concepts to do so up until then. There have been very strong submissions. For those of you who don't win, I'm certain you will be able to use the buttons you created in future designs, templates, etc. Very solid work all around.
@Cissed: Of your first set, my favorite would probably be row 2, column 1. For your 2nd set, I think the text is too weak, and the shadow is a bit too much.
Note: I'll be picking a winner in a few hours. There is still time for more submissions, but it's closing up shortly, so please post them asap. =)
This contest is now closed. I will announce the winner shortly. Note: I will also provide feedback to each of the final submissions.
Apologies for the delay. I had a difficult time choosing the winner. There were too many great options to choose from! =) My top 3 choices were from att_kiara, Homeblogger, and jokomamamita. Their submissions seemed to fit best when applied to my template. However, most of the entries were very high quality. I am sure your future clients will definitely want to use them for their projects. Winner: jokomamamita I selected jokomamita as the winner, for the simple beauty and refinement of the buttons she provided: att_kiara was an early favorite for me. I loved the clean look and the strong outer border. Homeblogger has extremely great sense of how to build impact with color and carefully chosen additions like the ribbon. Thank-you to all who participated. I hope to work with many of you again in the near future. jokomamamita: Please contact me so I can send your payment and arrange transfer of the files. =)
