Selling Web Directory With Great Domain

That number is irrelevant... That is your expense for owning it that long. Can't expect people to reimburse you for that lol I'm just saying, anybody can build their own directory that would have the same revenue and traffic (none) for $40 so it don't make sense to pay $75 for a 4 year old design that probably needs updated.

I understand you have worked on it and may be a little passionate about it but you gotta think realistically. You won't get $75 for that site. Unless you get lucky and come across a complete noobie that don't know better. Many others are telling you the same man, gotta be a little more realistic if you want to sell it.
and like I said, if you are willing to lower the price to a more realistic number, let me know.

 

In my opinion the most important in this online property is the domain. Which I valuate it more than the sale price of $75. Even without a site script, design or revenue, its value is more than $75. That's why I have stated that it is a bargain sale.

I am glad that you have a website with 300visits per day but your answer is irrelevant here. I have a website that gets more than 1k visitors per day without marketing but I did not mentioned about it in this thread because it is not related and relevant to the sale of 9directory.com web property.

As I mentioned above, this is not an ordinary simpledomain. But a short and memorable domain containing only 1 digit and the word "directory". I could sell it as a standalone domain in "Domains" section at DP for the same price, but I considered that the new owner might want to get the site files too, plus it is a paid script not a free one. Its all about domain and not revenue, traffic or design, but alll these are a plus for the new owner. He can consider this as a bonus.

Yep, i am very realistic. $75 its a very FAIR price for what I am selling. If you cannot afford it or are not interested than this is your opinion. The price will not be discounted.

lol nice try at attempt to humor me. I was just using that as an example but I guess you didn't get it... I have sites with WAYYYY more traffic and earnings so need to humor me and try to act superior over a directory...

By the way if you can hand-register a domain Xdirectory.com where X is a letter or a digit, then it means you've got big luck , but I doubt you will be able to find one because ALL are taken.

IDK what those links are suppose to prove but thought we had the discussion about them already. These days you need a good sounding domain name. The days of weird sounding domain names that make no sense are over. 3directory, 6 directory, those names just sound kinda stupid IMO.

anyhow, let me know if you decide to lower the price. I know you said you won't be though.

In the sale is included the domain + site files. Website cannot be sold without domain.
