Web Directory List - Now with own Details and Backlink History Page!

Thanks, OK everyone, I have a new method for collecting PageRank - so that we give the correct value for all web directories listed!

My app now only updates your site once ever 3 months (when PR actually changes), It grabs the Pagerank from 12 different DataCenters, using your domain (smashingdir.com) and your domain with a www. (www.smashingdir.com) - so In reality, It is checking for highest pagerank value 24 times.

This way, it will give you the highest value PR, with the most reliable PR Stats.

The new scraper app is running right now - but if anyone's directory is listed in my list here (http://webdirectorylist.smashingdir.com), and the PR is incorrect, please notify me today, and I will verify my new app method is working correctly.

Yes, their are TONS of options coming up like web directory accounts, automated submissions, backlink tracker (coming up next), and... well, anything I can think of, I'm going to do, lol.

Thats one great list....and i just have the objection on the color of the theme you are using, not that its bad i just dont like the color

 

HAHA, ok khushal, I shall add themes or skin-ability to the list of todo's Actually... maybe I could combine it with user accounts (when I program that portion) then people could have it look how they wanted.

 

two tips:
i couldn't see the second sorting option, I mean, you sort them by PR but you have 500 pr4 directories. (just guessing think there are like 150 - 200 )
second should be Free or Paid, third should be Reciprocal YES/NOT, forth should be alexa rank, just my 2 cents on this.

why, where available, don't you put the direct link to the submit page (would be very useful)?


and.. btw... I can't see http://www.links-collector.com in the list, one of the strongest PR4 directories ( was on the second page in directory contest and in my opinion one of the winners if others wouldn't have bought backlinks.).
you can also add http://www.all-linkdirectory.com - one of the greatest designs and over 1500 link in database, only PR2, but expecting it to be at least 5.

shutzu: regarding the double sorting, that's why I added the PR filter, so you can filter by PR, then sort by any way you want

Sorting after the defined sort is a good idea though (as in sort by whatever is selected, alexa, gbl, yahoo, etc...)

Submit page link per directory, that "could" be added but I didn't want to display blank areas (no link) for people with scripts that require you to navigate to the appropriate category prior to submitting. (Just want to keep it fair)

Yes, please submit your directories - their is a form on the right and it's free to all

 

sorry, I guess I haven't spent to much time on the site, well then, with what you have there, it means you really might make the best directories list around here, just wait some more time. best luck from me!
