Web directory for sale

I am selling http://www.directory143.com, a directory site with more than 65,000 entries. 17 categories and 598 sub categories.

The site is 2 month old, not that much traffic yet averaging 30 - 50 unique per day, only make $10 since it was started.

There is a simple admin where you can approve or deny newly submitted sites, you can also edit and update data entries. Add categories and sub categories. You can also send email.

The script use is created by me....

The money is OK but just remove part of it...

 

Result listing in directories are very bad like they are from crappy search engine...they were not submitted to this directory. Care to explain?

This is my question:
Why is google cache different than from site?
I am asking, not because I am saying or implying anything negative about this site, but for my own knowledge.

I have noticed this on many sites. I just checked several of my sites and the google cache and the site are exact matches.

Why the difference with some sites?

That is because when google index the site I was using the business directory script. I decided to change the script and create my own, because business directory script script is very slow and I can't mod rewrite it.

 

Just before I got your reply, I got a pm from someone else on the google cache and the difference.

What got me was the time that google showed.
Now I know that the LAST time google went by a site and cached, it will show that page and not the current one if it has been updated.
Until google crawls by and re-caches the site, it will not have the current site.
Sounds so simple now!

That brings up my next question...
How to get google to cache your current site?

Google is visiting the site everyday.... so sooner or later it will be cache for the new script.

Just to update I've got $210 offer will be close soon

As the script that anyone can download for free works fine,

Why fix what is not broke?

 

I do not know what the other poster is trying to infer about the script effecting Googles cache but that does not sound quite correct.

The cache of his site was from a few weeks ago when I guess the script and template were in their original state before his mods.

Since that time googlebot has been back and reindexed his site recently but has not updated acorss all datacenters and why the cache date and image are different for a few days till everything is all caught up.

Yes the layout is look like the same... I created that site before.... but I updated my script.

The business script is good if the database is small but when it grows it loads very slow (example http://www.dadirectoryon.com). So the current script used at that site is originally developed by me.

I can also provide a free copy of this script for those who are interested....
