After considerable effort, Web-Directories.ws list of directories has reached 7000.

We have about 3500 General Directory listings. We have put a lot of work in accumulating and improving our niche and regional categories. Of note are our
Niche Directories - about 1000 listings
Regional Directories - about 600 listings
The Internet Press - with about 500 Blog, Article, RSS Feed and Press Release listings
Non-English Language Directories - about 300 listings of German, French, Spanish...

The free and paid directories at the top of the list get tons of traffic. The Niche and Regional directories should start to get more traffic because these are truly useful resources for webmasters promoting their sites.

I has been close to 2 years. I had a head start with a 500-600 directories from Best Web Directories.

I added your 4 directories. I was impressed with www.theIslamicDirectory.com. The site looks like it was very well thought out, with closely related content. I put it in the Middle East category. Please let me know there would be a more appropriate location.

You were correct that www.theIslamicDirectory.com would be best placed in the religion directory category. I moved it there.

I don't know what happened to your PM. I received an email saying that I got a PM but I never saw the actual PM. Digital Point seemed to be acting strange yesterday.

 

Update

I just added some sub-categories to the religion directory category. We know have a category for Muslim directories and one for Christian directories.
