So, I posted something in the general chat area about starting projects to build to ones freelance portfolio. I just had an idea that might help me learn more about doing business and design for clients. I believe I'm a decent coder and know a lot about web design, but don't really have any client based work to show. Would anyone be interested in taking me under their wing? I'm not looking to get paid (although that would be nice). I want this to be a good learning experience for me. Since I've done everything for myself, I have to start learning how to interpret what clients want. I figured if I found some sort of internship, I could observe, give my thoughts and maybe even design. This seems like quite the stretch as most freelancers would rather work alone, but I figured I'd throw this out there as I'm very interested in learning. I'm very functional with Photoshop as my main graphics program. I've been using it for years. I can fully understand HTML/CSS (haven't dug into much css3 yet). PHP/Javascript I can understand and change to my pleasure, but I'm not efficient enough where I can start code from scratch or create complex things. I just have a well understanding of the fundamentals that go into those programming languages (as well as interacting with MySQL databases).
