It's been a long time since I've done any projects of my own — even longer since I've been part of this community — so I decided I'd do something useful that the crowd here would find useful. jobs.sitesixteen is a deceivingly simple tool to help you search all of the web dev/design jobs on craigslist. The goal is to expand it to include all tech-related jobs from all job boards with available API's, or at least feeds I can parse. It will then be expanded to offer a watchdog-like search/notification ability. Here are a few search terms to give you an idea: wordpress jobs in the US you can telecommute to all web development jobs in the US you can telecommute to iPhone jobs within 100 miles of San Francisco CA "user experience" jobs in New York NY I've implemented functionality the way I found it useful, but I'd like for you to review this site based on how useful you find it, how it could be more useful to you and what you would do differently (and why).
Thats a great idea - there are other places that do similar things, but its a board search on those sites. there is an app called "craigslist pro" or something like that that is similar to your site. great idea though, not everyone has access to install apps - especially on a shared PC
The goal here is to provide a universal job board with an interface the suits the task as opposed to Craigslist's one-size-fits-all approach.
The site is good but it could probably use a better navigation system at the top. Perhaps a city, state, job-type navigation to better display results.
