    Hello Everyone,

Before I ask or discuss my issue, I would like to make notice to the fact that I am aware that I am not going to be spoon fed answers and so on. Anyways on to my issue.

I have some experience with HTML and a very minute experience outside the realm of WordPress and VBulletin site building. I feel that where ever I look I am unable to find a good source or place to get a better footing or starting fuel for web design.

So what am I exactly asking for? --> I would appreciate if anyone would mind sharing names of books or places where I can start reading from and building my understanding of Web Design. Thanks to all those that reply I really appreciate it.

    Hi,
I know of a very good book for beginners which covers html, xhtml, StyleSheets, and Web Graphics by Jennifer Niederst Robbins and Aaron Gustafson

The book goes by the “Learning Web Design”

You can find this book at Amazon.com, just search for (books – learning html)

To learn HTML, CSS or any other coding language, I would defiantly look at w3schools dot com. For design inspiration and layout ideas have a look at siteinspire dot net. Sorry can't post live links yet! :)
