We are looking for a web architect to take our site to the next level, your job responsibilities will be to manage, maintain, develop and improve our current successful e-commerce website. The ideal candidate possesses an extreme attention to detail and a high level of accountability and responsibility. We need someone who can take the complexity of the backend and make it flow efficiently inside an innovative design. Potential candidate must have a deep understanding of standards-compliant HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, MYSQL and a strong command of cross-browser development techniques and browser degradation strategies. Candidate must be skilled at building table-free layouts using semantic mark-up and CSS. – HTML prototyping for new layouts and site features – Clean, beautiful pages designed for all major browsers. We are looking for someone that likes to get ‘under the hood,’ see how things work, and stay up to date with the latest Web technologies. You will need to work independently, with the ability to function well in a team. You need to be both patient and excited at the same time. You’ll be juggling many requests simultaneously, and will be expected to handle them all diligently, accurately, and quickly. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Utilize expert level design skills and experience to concept and develop fresh art work, design solutions and graphic user interfaces for the web. Produce dynamic, engaging, and effective interactive content which align with business goals and objectives. Maintain and provide ongoing design of our websites, our promotions, and the ad banners. Pluses Are: Innovative ad youthful graphic design style. Three years or more of web development experience. Skilled in creative software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver. Excellent skills in concept development and design implementation. Exceptional critical thinking skills Passion for interactive media and Rich Internet Architecture and User Interface design A great degree of creativity and latitude is required. Ability to work independently, as well as the ability to work well in a team. Handles a variety of multiple changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
