I'm about to finish reading a great book on web design; Is there any book that you would recommend after I finish it?

    the book is:
Learning Web Design: A Beginner's Guide to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Graphics (English Edition)

    Do people still buy books?
Just roll up your sleeves and start coding. look online for solutions to any problems you're having. You shouldn't need another book.

Just looked it up, $102 at book depository. That's phenomenally expensive, especially for you since you're in Pakistan!

I support, much better to learn from mistakes. The best results are always when you look for solutions and practice your knowledge.

Everything is online and most importantly it is up-to-date. Books tend to get out-of-date quickly. You will also find a lot of examples, tutorials and advise from users how are doing it hands on. You can only get good experience by doing it.

Forget the book, just get your hands dirty!

Start developing a simple design and get comfortable with HTML and CSS. Next, you can move onto adding interactivity via JavaScript.

I learned web design from books.

But that was 20 years ago!!!
Most of what you need is online today.

A word of advice: Although learning to code properly is important – learning from your mistakes is paramount.
