Web design

    Hi,

If I see a website and I like the design, can I use it as inspiration? So could I use SIMILAR colours and position things in the same locations? Of course, nothing would be straight copied, it'd all be done from scratch in Photoshop but I'd use ideas and the positions of things from another site.

Legal or illegal? Is it OK to do this?

A bit dodgy. While being "inspired" is one thing, similar colours and positioning elements in the same locations is probably crossing the line between inspiration and forgery, and likely to be a violation of their original works and copyright.

Yes, keep a Distance from the similarity between the both sites....!

Let inspiration doesn't turn to Robbery..!

Well, You can use Similar Colors and Roughly copy similar layout too..! but doesn't make it exact or it will be breaking the copyright sometimes :)
