Hi, I am new to web design and want to make a pretty simple personal website.

Could I please get some recommendations on where to find some tutorials for html, css, and java. Thanks a lot.

good-tutorials.com is a nice place for newbies to start

 

I'm a big fan of www.w3schools.com. They are in my opinion the one of the best resources on the internet.

 

friendsofed.com there books are the best, period. Look for the author David Powers, his books are really great have 3 of them.
