    Hi and thanks in advance,

When it comes to clients I am a little bit on the soft side and they usually abuse me making me do twice as much what the agreement says.

Is there a way that you can show me a "VERY DETAILED" quote you offer the client that covers ALMOST everything?

You can delete the name of the client and the price if uncomfortable but I am really interested in understanding how to do a better job and doing some upsells too...

    Thanks a lot !!!

Won't show you any of my quotes but the idea is pretty simple: write down whatever the client tells you (the specification) and what you've told them (the service description) and add a clause that all changes are subject to an additional fee. It's great to overdeliver and to please the clients but when it comes to clients asking for more than what they've paid fore I tend to have a zero-tolerance ...

Agreed. Tell them no giving, no paying. I believe they will work hard to get someone won't get for he is not working so hard as they do.

I did that a lot in the past. Not a good thing. Its human nature I guess to get most out of anything they can:)

Put together a contract with details of every features you would provide. Have it signed by the client, keep one copy for yourself and give the client another copy.

When they ask for more just tell them its not in the scope, so you need to put extra time.
