As many of us are here, us webdesigners probably have one of the largest and most tenious tasks of getting decent results in SERP's when we first started out with our business site. Now as I have ventured this and other forums along with many sites belonging to our "competition", I have noticed its a mixed bag when it comes to doing reciprocal linking with other design outfits. Is there a definitive answer as to whether or not its good to do this? If not, what other "related" site types can be used that the SE's seem to like? As for me, my site offers design, SEO, hosting, domain registration and templates for sale. That automatically makes it so theres 5 different competitor types out there.... DOH!
"web design" http://www.google.com/search?q=web+...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official With 319 mil results for that term alone, get anyone and everyone to link to you. Especially, web design related links.
Tru tru about the SERPs on that phrase. But some say its bad, some say its good. Thats what I really want to know for once and for all. Ultimately, just want to make sure that I have a solid target for link campaign before I invest valuable time into a lost cause lol
