Hey. I noticed that if I open an .ico file and save it as .png (for example Twitter's favicon), and open it in my web browser (Firefox), the .png image has a different color than the original .ico file. When I save the image with the gamma correction, it looks fine.

But I have read something about the correction that it may be a problem: hsivonen.iki.fi/png-gamma
Do you save .png files with the gamma correction or not? What is your opinion on this issue?

You can test your browser if it supports gamma correction here: libpng.org/pub/png/png-gammatest.html
